SCHS graduation is Friday night

Seminole County High School ceremony set for 7:30 PM

The 2012 graduating class of Seminole County High School has 90 students as candidates for graduation. The graduation exercises will be held Friday evening, May 18th at 7:30 in the Jesse McLeod Gymnasium.
The evening will begin with the processional as the audience stands and the candidates for graduation, led by the 2012 Honor Graduates, enter and take center stage. Haley Delk will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and Colita Brimlow will welcome the audience. Haley Ethredge will give the invocation.
The evening will continue as Reva Forrest presents the Salutatory Address followed by the Valedictory Address from the 2012 Valedictorian Alana Hall. Seniors Drew Atkinson, Josh Buczek, Connor Chandler, Daniel Hartzog and Gaines Pearce will perform You’ll Be In My Heart and I Hope You Dance before and after the Valedictory Address.
Senior Hudson Hanna will introduce the evening’s speaker, Seminole County High School Principal Brinson Register.
The evening will conclude with the presentation of diplomas and the changing of the tassel.
Graduation committee members for this year are Sherrie McMullen, Natalie Cloud, Mary Jean Albritton, Jade Brannon, Carol Baker, Susan Chambliss, Sandy Hunter and Kathryn Trawick.
Junior Marshalls for the Seminole County High School Graduation ceremony are Candice Barber, Jordan Davis, Amber Hawkins, Marissa Mike, Hunter Rutledge, Brittany Hester, Wendy Bunce, Stephen Kenyon, Russell King, Sawyer Meadows and Matthew Williams.
