GDOT to begin debris removal

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) trucks, front end loaders and other heavy equipment are on their way to Seminole County and ten other Southwest Georgia counties. GDOT will be picking up debris from county roads and city streets  until the Governor’s state of emergency declaration ends Nov. 6 or the US Army Corps of Engineers debris removal contract dispute is resolved. Updates will be posted as they become available via email, the newspaper’s Facebook page and donalsonvillenews.com
