Effective Monday, November 5, Seminole County Elementary School (SCES) is changing the drop off and pick up areas while the school is being repaired. All students will be dropped off at the front office entrance each morning. The earliest time to drop off students is going to remain 7:30 a.m..
Kindergarten, first grade, second grade students and siblings will be picked up in the afternoon at the area between the first grade building and the main office building (area where kindergarten students get picked up now). Vehicles picking up at the north end will need to be in the middle lane to be directed to pick up your students.
Third, fourth, and fifth grade students will be picked up at the main office area instead of the gym area. Vehicles picking up these students will need to be in the lane closest to the building and drive under the portico to pick up students.
Seminole County Elementary School Principal Dr. Renea Pierce expressed “Thank you for your patience as we work through this difficult time in our county and our school system. If you have any questions, please contact the school at 229-524-5235.”
