Seminole County citizens, it is time to rejoice and celebrate our community’s survival and recovery. A day of Thanksgiving – celebrating our thanks and hope for a bright new future of togetherness – has been set for Saturday, November 17 from 11 a.m until 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Seminole County Middle High football practice field All you have to do is bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
Every single Seminole County citizen is encouraged to attend and enjoy a survival parade, a tribute to our veterans, a thank you to all linemen and every single volunteer who has helped guide this community back into the light, a BBQ Sandwich feast of Thanksgiving, kids activities, music from our youth and a community choir, and spiritual messages of hope and Thanksgiving from community pastors. The BBQ for the event’s meal is being graciously donated by Wayne and Jodi Brown, founders of the faith based Community Impact Ministries.
