Seminole County farmers Greg and Stephanie Mims directed $2500 to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer, Inc., (S.C.W.C.) through America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer.  “As part of their mission, Seminole County Warpath on Cancer, Inc. will use the funds to help Seminole County cancer patients by assisting with groceries, gas, electricity or anything medical that insurance does not cover”, said Jan Taylor, Chair.

Celebrating its 10th year, America’s Farmers Grow Communities partners with farmers to support nonprofit organizations strengthening rural communities.  The program offers farmers the chance to direct a $2,500.00 donation to the nonprofit of their choice.  It has awarded more than $33 million to over 8,000 nonprofits across rural America.

Accepting this donation from Greg and Stephanie are Jan Taylor, Chair and Betty Mims Co-Chair of Seminole County Warpath on Cancer, Inc.
