Hurricane benefit concert is Saturday night at 7 p.m.

Hurricane Michael Benefit Concert and Silent Auction to be held on Saturday night at the Donalsonville Church of God

The Parish Family gospel trio, a multi-award winning Christian Country Gospel trio from Southwest Georgia, will hold their final concert together on Saturday, April 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Donalsonville Church of God located at 5060 Highway 91 North in Donalsonville. Ronnie, Kesha, and Mark Parish will be singing most all of the “fan-favorites” in appreciation for the love, support, and prayers of their fan base through the years.

Kesha Parish, Donalsonville native, has launched a solo ministry and will have her brand new CD available for sale called, “New Oil (Holy Ghost Fire)” which has been released to national radio and doing well. A silent auction will precede the concert and will begin at 6 p.m. The auction, being organized by Dr. Renea Pierce and Tondra Rich, will feature delicious homemade cakes, and decorative and  homemade crafts will open at 6 p.m. and close at 7:30 p.m..

Proceeds from all sales will go to the Seminole County BetterWay Initiative, Inc. to assist with further hurricane relief efforts throughout the community.

Joining Parish in the benefit performance will be local singing trio Lisa Adams, Melisa Adams, and Olivia Adams Buckhalter, the trio of Tondra Rich, Renea Pierce and Phillip Kirkland, and soloists Madison Lomineck and Kim Newberry.

The Parish Family Music Ministry has reached millions of souls all over the world as cast members on three different global network television shows: Brush Arbor Jubilee with Bill Traylor and Bob Jones as hosts, Great American Gospel with Ed O’Neal, and American Gospel On stage with Mike LeFevre. The group has been blessed with five number one songs since 2010 and has accumulated multiple awards in Christian Country Music. The group has also recorded two singles with Grammy-award winning artist Marty Raybon, lead vocalist of main-stream Country group, Shenandoah.

Kesha is the daughter of Jackie Williams Alday and the late Coleman Brimlow of Donalsonville, and Ronnie and Mark are the sons of the late Rev. B.H. Parish and Mrs. Nettie Ruth of Parish of Bainbridge.
