The Seminole County Indians tennis team has served notice that its #1 goal is winning the State Championship. On Tuesday team members served themselves one step closer to that goal by defeating Irwin County 3-1 and advancing to the Final Four. The team will travel to Commerce, Georgia on Friday, April 26 and play at 11 a.m. The team consists of Chandler Hinton #1 singles, Carson Odom #2 singles, WC Craft #3 singles, Preston Drake and Jay Palmer #1 doubles, and Cortavius Faison and Parth Patel #2 doubles. Alternates include Jad Deal, Moses James, Ricky Coachman, and Rudra Patel.
Coach Tina Fain commented, “I am very proud of the time and energy these boys have put into practicing and playing this season. We set goals at the beginning of the season to win Area this year and we succeeded. Our goal now is to win one match at a time and make it to the State finals May 4th.”
