Thirty-eight earn SCHS Honor Graduate colors

Seminole County High School is proud to announce the Honor Graduates of the Class of 2019.

This year’s graduating class has thirty-four students who will be graduating with honors.
The 2019 Valedictorian is Will Cobb, and the Salutatorian is Radhika Patel.

Kent Richardson, Seminole County Middle/High School (SCMHS) principal states, “It is indeed an honor to announce the accomplishments of each of these students as well as all graduating Seniors in the Class of 2019.  Seminole County Middle/High School is honored to serve the students of our county and we anticipate seeing even greater achievements from these students after graduation.  I appreciate the families who have supported our students throughout their years with us and also the faculty and staff of our school who have worked in helping each student reach this most important milestone in their lives.  It takes everyone working together in helping young people as they prepare to become the future of tomorrow.”

The honor graduates for the SCHS Senior Class of 2019 are as follows.

Valedictorian for the Class of 2019 and receiving Superintendent’s Honors is Will Cobb. Salutatorian for the Class of 2019 and receiving Superintendent’s Honors is
Radhika Patel.

Additional students receiving Superintendent’s Honors are Samantha McLendon and Caleb Kenyon.

Students receiving Honors are Parker Ausley, Aaron Chambliss, Ricky Coachman, Ramsey Williams, Kate Sherrer, Victoria Lambert, Justin Johnson, Kayla Williams, Dylan Harden, Payton Bishop, Dallan Heard, Tiffany Peterson, Samantha Toney, Colby Cunningham, Sharmia Bryant, Chyna Stokes, Ka’Meriya Johnson, Matthew Helms, Shandaja Richardson and Leigha Hunt.

Honor graduates are those students who have maintained at least a 90 cumulative grade point average throughout their high school years.  The student with the highest overall grade point average for the graduating class is named the Class Valedictorian and the student with the second highest grade point average is the Class Salutatorian.  Students who earn a 97 – 100 grade point average receive Superintendent’s honors, students who earn a 93 – 96 grade point average receive Principal’s honors and students who earn a 90 – 92 grade point average receive honors.  It is with great pride that we announce the honor graduates for the Senior Class of 2019.

Seminole County High School’s 2019 Graduation ceremony is set for May 24.
