Way-finding signs are steps in the right direction

The Donalsonville-Seminole Chamber of Commerce is in the process of installing way-finding signs throughout downtown Donalsonville. The first sign, installed on the corner of Cherry Street and U.S. Highway 84, and more to come, will offer travelers visual directions to shopping, dining and more off the main streets running through town.

The production and installation of the signs is being funded by a $5000 Tourism Product Development Grant awarded to the chamber and the Development Authority by Georgia Tourism, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

In addition to the way-finding signs the chamber has used  the funding for the creation and printing of a full-color area attraction brochure and will be designing and installing new advertising panels on the chamber’s billboard located on Georgia Highway 91 South.
