SEMINOLE COUNTY 11- and 12-year-old All Star baseball team playing for state title

The 11- and 12-year-old All Star baseball team from the Seminole County Recreation Department played in the first round of the Dixie Youth Baseball State Tournament this past weekend in Swainsboro, Georgia. Seminole County advanced into the final four and will play again in Swainsboro this weekend, Friday, July 12 at 6:00 p.m. in their quest to claim a Dixie Youth Baseball State Championship. Opening games will be Seminole County vs. Irwin County and Schley vs. Crawford.

Members of the team include Nate Akers, Kade Touchton, Kendan Miller, Bo Williams, Quinten Chrispen, Tucker Lynn, Hines Roberts, John Walker, Drew Hornsby, Christian Albritton and ZaKari Henderson. Coaches include head coach Will Fain, coach Spence Touchton and coach Ronnie Miller.
