Pep rally to be held at Seminole Stadium beginning at 6:30 p.m.
To get the Indian Nation fired up and ready for a new post hurricane sports season, the Seminole County Athletic Booster Club, in conjunction with Seminole County Middle High School, has scheduled a community-wide Pep Rally for Thursday evening, August 15 – the night before Seminole County’s home-opening scrimmage game against Early County on Friday, August 16.
The Pep Rally will be held at Seminole Stadium and the fun will begin at 6:30 p.m. Student athletes will be leading the crowd in games for the young and the not so young, and at 7 p.m. introduction of all Seminole County band, cheerleaders, athletes and coaches will begin. Green Machine Band and Auxiliary members will be recognized first, followed by recreation department athletes and cheerleaders, Seminole County Middle-High School (SCMHS) cheerleaders, the Fall sports teams of cross country and softball.
The evening will conclude with the recognition of the SCMHS Football Indians and the coaching staff.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, face painting art and t shirts will be on sale throughout the event and the Green Machine Band and the SCMHS Cheerleaders will be performing during the evening.
