Pumpkin Patch is open until October 26th

Trunk or treat is set for Oct. 31 downtown

Spokespersons for Family Connection, Olive Theatre, and Friendship House of Jesus want to let you know that there is still time to stop by and pick up a pumpkin for Fall. This year’s pumpkin patch is helping all three non-profits. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 3 to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. There is also an after-hours box placed at the patch just in case one stops by and there isn’t a volunteer present.

There is also still time to book a field trip for your group or class. Field trips start beginning at 9 a.m. on weekdays. There is a story time provided at Patty Patch as well as face painting if a volunteer is available for the time and date requested.

For more information call Family Connection coordinator, Billie McLendon at 229-309-0531.

It is almost time for Halloween and that means Trunk or Treat is right around the corner! There is still time for you to get involved. Festivities start at 5:30 on October 31st. If you are participating with a trunk you are asked to arrive at 5 p.m. to set up. This year there will be two inflatables for children. One is sponsored by Donalsonville Hospital and the other PeoplesSouth Bank. There will also be a few food trucks on site for food options.

This is a great opportunity for community outreach for organizations and church groups, as well as civic groups. The main goal of this event is to join the community together for a night of fun and entertainment without having to travel outside our city.

For more information or to get involved contact Tina Fain at 229-254-3494 or Billie McLendon at 229-309-0531.
