SEVERE WEATHER NOTICE for Saturday, October 19

We have some nasty weather headed Seminole County and Southwest Georgia’s way which will most likely cause area roads to be flooded and limbs to fall. Please use extreme caution when driving, especially after nightfall when it’s hard to see water on roadways.
National Weather Service forecast for Seminole County:
TODAY: Mostly cloudy. A 50 percent chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
TONIGHT: TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. Chance of showers in the evening, then showers and chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. East winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
SATURDAY: TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. Showers and chance of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Highs in the mid 70s. Southeast winds 25 to 30 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon. Gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy. Showers likely and chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows around 60. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. Northwest winds around 5 mph.
