Georgia Chamber’s Morgan Law to speak at local chamber dinner

Morgan Law, Senior Vice President of Economic and Community Development at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, will be the featured speaker at the January 30 annual membership meeting of the Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Seminole State Park’s large enclosed picnic pavilion.

A Certified Economic Developer with 20+years of experience in the fields of business-related not for profit organization management, governmental affairs, community, and economic development. Law is especially adept at relationship building, marketing, public speaking, event coordination, and professional writing. 

Law serves as the primary point of contact for economic development and rural programming. In addition, he works with all local chambers of commerce across Georgia to strengthen their organizations and membership. Supporting the Georgia Allies, Authentic Georgia, ChamberTomorrow, and the Rural Prosperity Summit are his office passions.    

Prior to his position at the Georgia Chamber, the Athens, Georgia native was the Executive Director of the Georgia Travel Association, and President and CEO for both the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce in Warner Robins and the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce. Law holds an economics degree from the University of Georgia and in 2015 he graduated with distinction from the MBA program at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK. 

The evening’s festivities will open with a silent auction beginning at 6 p.m., and after the meal, the program will feature the presentation of awards, including the announcement of the 2019 Citizen of the Year. 50/50 tickets will also be on sale and the winner will be announced the night of the banquet. A park pass or $5 park parking fee will be required for all vehicles entering the park gate for the event. Tickets for the annual meeting are $20 per person and tables of eight can be reserved.
