The annual Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce Banquet is scheduled for tonight, January 30th from 6-8 p.m. at the newly renovated Donalsonville Country Club. The event was originally slated to be held in the Seminole State Park pavilion, but concerns of the travel distance on a week day convinced the board to move the location back in town.
The guest speaker is Morgan Law, Senior Vice President of Economic and Community Development at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
As always, there will be a great dinner, door prizes and a Centennial themed Silent Auction, which will open the evening’s festivities at 6 p.m. After the meal, the program will feature the presentation of awards, including the announcement of the 2019 Citizen of the Year and the Cornerstone award recipient. 50/50 tickets will also be on sale and the winner will be announced at Reynolds Landing during the February 22 Georgia High School Bass tournament.
Tickets for the annual meeting are $20 per person and will be available at the door. For additional information call the Chamber of Commerce office at 229-524-2588.
