Wooden memories of Rambeau Gymnasium now available

As a fundraiser for the ministry the Friendship House of Jesus in Donalsonville is selling keepsake wooden plaques and cutting boards made out of the wood from the Rambeau Gym bleachers which were damaged by Hurricane Michael. They are cut into in the shape of Seminole County and will have a star or cross marking the location of Donalsonville.

The small one is $35 and the larger one is $75, but since this is a fundraiser any amount above that would be appreciated.

They can be ordered at the Donalsonville News office, the Chamber of Commerce office or you can contact Friendship House Director Justin Gravlee at 229-416-5920 or justin@friendsministriesga.org

The First Baptist  Church of Donalsonville men’s group  helped remove the wood planks from the steel bleacher frame and  students from Dusty Smith’s SCMHS class  are making the plaques and cutting boards out of the wood.
