Coronavirus issues are moving rapidly and are upon us as the school system is shut down for a few weeks. We have also cancelled/postponed the Las Vegas Tenors concert and the Chamber of Commerce has postponed the Rodeo. It is likely that more events and functions may be postponed, cancelled, or otherwise modified to accommodate the current conditions. At this time, there are no plans to close City Hall or change any current operational activities as it is more important than ever that we are able to respond to the citizens needs to have basic city services in place. We will take necessary precautions to limit public interaction and use reasonable discretion in the course of providing these services. Working with County Emergency Management officials, updates will be provided as they are made available. Citizens are encouraged to adhere to guidelines and recommendations that have been disseminated for the safety and well-being of themselves and others. Questions or concerns may be directed to 229-524-2118 from 9:00 am To 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Issues or concerns may be entered on the City’s website by clicking on “Contact Form” at www.donalsonvillega.org. After hours and on weekends calls to report non-emergency issues may be directed to 229-524-5115. As always, in the event of an emergency call ”911”.
