- What does Shelter in Place mean?
Beginning Friday, April 3, a stay-at-home or shelter-in-place order will be in effect for all of Seminole County and the state of Georgia.
Do not panic. This main purpose of this order is to decrease physical interaction between people and slow down and hopefully stop the spread of COVID-19. Essential stores such as grocery stores, gas stations and pharmacies will remain open for the public to shop.
A shelter-in-place order does not mean people can’t leave their homes. People can still shop, order takeout from restaurants or even go outside to exercise.
And, always remember that HOPE
has not been postponed or cancelled.
Stay smart and stay healthy Seminole County.
