Since Seminole County began sheltering in place Seminole County School Nutrition Program Director Ivey McLendon and her staff have been bagging Grab and Go meals – in monumental amounts – for weekly distribution to Seminole County students. For the month of April they have served 17,412 breakfasts and lunches for a total of 34,824 meals. Since the distribution program began March 18th they have served 28,787 breakfasts and lunches for a grand total of 57,574 meals distributed.

The school system will continue to distribute the weekly meals every Tuesday in the month of May.
