CSX schedules road closings for railroad crossing repair

CSX Railroad has scheduled the following railroad crossings in Seminole County to be closed for repair, necessitating the rerouting of traffic:

North Morris Avenue, between west First Street and west Crawford Street, Broome Avenue between US-84/Dunham Street and west Crawford Street, and Fertilizer Road between US-84 and Old Jakin Road will be closing on/around June 15.

Booge Roberts Road off of US-84, Pool Road between US-84 and Old Jakin Road, and Fox Lane between US-84 and Old Jakin Road will be closing on/around June 16.

Signage will be in place marking detour routes, and each cach crossing will be closed for two to five days. In the cases of locations with one way in/out accesses local residents can request special accommodations for these closures by calling Southern Commercial Development (SCD), the company contracted to perform the work. Notify SCD of any required detours, permits or questions at 229-262-4394.

Updates with changes in the work schedule as they occur, as they are highly likely in this field of work, will be posted and all dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen conditions.
