City employees test NEGATIVE for COVID-19

Donalsonville City employees test negative for COVID-19.

On Sunday, July 26 the Donalsonville News was notified that a Donalsonville City Hall employee, and Donalsonville Police officers had tested positive for COVID-19.
City Hall offices, all City Hall public areas, and the Police Department facility were closed for deep cleaning and sanitizing.

All City employees potentially exposed to the virus were tested, and the results for all have come back NEGATIVE. Those employees have been cleared to return to work.

All offices will reopen to the public on Monday, August 3. Face coverings will be encouraged by all in person visitors.

During this time, the safety of citizens, nor the continuation of city services, have been compromised.
