The Donalsonville Loins Club plans to restart its weekly membership meetings on Tuesday, February 16th. All members planning to attend the Tuesday noon meeting at the newly constructed Lions Hall will be highly encouraged to wear face masks. Additional safety protocols and social distancing seating will be in place.
The club suspended its weekly meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic’s shelter in place period last Spring. In person meetings were resumed later in the year; however, due to a spike in the number of local positive COVID-19 cases, and the continued increase in positive virus cases last Fall, the club decided to suspend the membership meetings once again.
The arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine, and the recentslowing of the local positive virus case rate increase, provided the encouragement to restart the meetings at this time.
The public is invited to attend and join the Donalsonville Lions Club and participate in its community service projects. The club meets weekly on Tuesdays at 12 noon in the Donalsonville Lions Hall located at 100 South Wiley Avenue in downtown Donalsonville.
