On Monday, March 1, public libraries in the Southwest Georgia Regional Library system reopened its doors for in-person services by appointment only and with safety rules in place including a mask requirement. In an effort to accommodate as many individuals as safely as possible, there is a one hour time limit per appointment per day.
Patrons will have the opportunity to conduct business such as holds pick-up, computer use, access to materials, printing, copying, faxing, and reference services. Curbside service will continue to be offered and WiFi is still available outside the library.
Seminole County Public Library’s hours by appointment are Monday – Friday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Curbside hours are Monday – Friday 9:30 to 11 a.m. To make an appointment, call 229-524-2665. Additional information is available at swgrl.org.

The popular on-demand film streaming service Hoopla Digital is now available for free at the Southwest Georgia Regional Library thanks to a grant from The Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust. Hoopla Digital allows patrons to borrow content immediately without having to place holds. The Hoopla Digital collection includes fan favorite movies, newly released albums, New York Times bestselling titles and exclusive STEAM educational content to enhance each patron’s experience.

The Seminole County Public Library has some great new materials available for checkout! The Russian Cage by Charlaine Harris, Brightly Woven by Leigh Dragoon, and Loretta Little Looks Back by Andrea Davis Pickney are now available.
