Church of God’s vision of a Family Life Center is coming into focus

The Donalsonville Church of God (DCOG) began a building project in the Fall of 2020 that is going to fulfill a vision held by many of the pioneer pastors of the church. The new facility, well on its way to completion, will be a multi-purpose Family Life Center to serve all age groups at various times.

The Family Life Center will be 14,000 square feet and is composed of a gym/fellowship hall, state of the art industrial kitchen, two bathrooms, including showers, a youth room, a children’s church facility, a classroom, an office, and a storage room.

The center will also house an evangelist/guest suite made up of a bedroom, private bath, living area and a study.

The church believes the new facility will serve not only the church so much better, but the entire community – today and for years to come .

“We are excited and encourage all who are interested to stop by and watch the progress as it happens. We can’t wait to get into the building and further God’s work serving our community,” commented a church spokesperson.

Reverend Phillip Kirkland, pastor of the Donalsonville Church of God added, “We are thrilled to see our vision becoming a reality during. Thank God for the way He is blessing our church and helping us continue to grow amid the pandemic. God bless all of you for supporting the work of God.”

DCOG  invites all to join them at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday for morning worship service, in person and on Facebook, and at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday evening for mid-week services and youth groups activities.
