SCES to perform Disney’s Frozen JR. April 23, 24 and 25

Seminole County Elementary School (SCES) students are preparing to warm your hearts with their upcoming production of Disney’s Frozen JR. 

Tickets are now on sale in Seminole County Elementary School’s front office for four performances scheduled for Friday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 24 at 2:30 p.m., and  Sunday, April 25 at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

All performances will be held in the Seminole County Elementary School auditorium, and there will be limited seating due to COVID-19 safety guidelines. Tickets for adults are $10.00 and tickets for kids 12 and under are $5.00. Guests are encouraged to come in costume!

You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of Disney’s Frozen JR, the top-grossing animated film of all time! Join Anna, Elsa, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. With its empowering message of love and understanding, Frozen JR. is sure to melt your heart!

The spectacular 60-minute musical, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. The Seminole Singers cast includes fifty students led by dynamic husband and wife duo,  Tony and Joy Buczek. 

“This is a wonderful show filled with talented local children and our Seminole Singers are going to bring you music, dance and theatre magic!” said, Mr. Buczek, Director and Music teacher at SCES. 

Disney’s Frozen JR is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
