Seminole County tennis teams advance to Sweet 16

After completing undefeated regular seasons and defeating the Miller County boys and girls teams to win the Region 1A championship, the Seminole County Middle High School Indians and Lady Indians tennis teams entered state tournament competition on a roll.  

Last week the Indians and Lady Indians both defeated Hawkinsville in their first round match of the state tournament. 

Both teams are now in the state tournament’s round of sixteen and will play this week on their home courts. The girls will play Charlton County on Thursday, April 22 at 3 p.m., and the boys will play Metter this Firday, April 23 at 2 p.m.
