David Maxwell, managing editor of the Donalsonville News, was presented the 2021 Outstanding Support by Public Media Award for Southwest District 4-H. He was also selected as the 2021 State of Georgia winner in the same category.
Maxwell’s selection for these prestigious awards was announced Wednesday, May 5th, at the Georgia Association of Extension 4-H Agents Awards Luncheon held at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia.
In the presentation of the awards Maxwell was acknowledged and honored for the Donalsonville News’ outstanding coverage and support of Georgia Extension and 4-H programming and the promotion of ongoing agricultural educational and youth programming efforts of each.
“Much thanks to David for all he does to keep the Seminole County citizens informed of the vital educational programming efforts of UGA Extension / 4-H. Thanks for your support,” commented Cindy Meadows, Seminole County 4-H and Extension Agent.
