The Seminole County Summer Sacrifice program has been established for all student athletes of Seminole County Middle and High Schools. The goal of the Summer program is to give Seminole County athletes the opportunity to put in maximum effort in the off season to achieve maximum results in upcoming regular seasons.
Student athletes are required to dedicate themselves to work out and conditioning throughout the Summer. Conditioning will help improve strength, performance, and team camaraderie. There are a total of 24 workouts athletes are encouraged to attend. Weight room hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for football players, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for all other athletes.
Any student athlete that successfully completes all 24 workouts will receive the following: hat and T-shirt, bookbag (with name) and their name will be added to a student athlete plaque to highlight their accomplishment.
Student athletes who attend at least 23 workouts will receive a bookbag (with name), hat and T-shirt.
Student athletes who attend at least 22 workouts will receive at least a hat and T-shirt.
