Lake landings to require parking pass effective July 1

Effective July 1, 2021, a ParkPass will be required at Sealy’s Point and Reynolds Landing Park (Spring Creek).   An Annual ParkPass for Georgia residents can be purchased for $20, non-residents $30, and a Daily ParkPass is $3. The ParkPass must be displayed on your rearview mirror at all times while inside the parks.

Beginning Monday, June 21, visitors can purchase an Annual ParkPass at the Board of Commissioners’ office located at 200 S. Knox Avenue, Donalsonville, GA, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.  Daily passes are located in the collection boxes at each park. Additional purchase locations may be added in the future.  All funds collected will be used for upkeep of the parks.

Additionally, the Board of Commissioners recently voted in favor of leasing Cummings Landing Park.  As everyone is aware, the dock sustained damage during Hurricane Michael and repairs have not been made.  Once the lease agreement has been finalized with the Department of Natural Resources and the Corp of Engineers, a collection box will be set up and the Daily ParkPass fees collected will be used to offset the cost of replacing the dock.  The Annual ParkPass will include use of Cummings Landing.  The county will also be moving forward with reopening the camping area at a later date.
