No July 4th fireworks celebration here, but events are scheduled in all directions

The Fourth of July will happen as it does every year, but Independence Day will have to come and go without the rockets-red-glare fanfare in Seminole County at Seminole State Park.  Park officials have confirmed a Fourth of July fireworks display will not be held this year, and due to decisions at the state level, possibly never again.  A local we want to have a Fourth of July fireworks display somewhere in Seminole County committee, has been formed to develop plans for that to happen in 2022. If you are interested in being a part of that movement or need additional information on the planning, contact the Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce at 229-524-2588.
