Wishing for some pancakes? Miss Donalsonville hosting pancake fundraising supper July 1

Miss Donalsonville Abigail Grantham is gearing up for the upcoming 2021 Miss National Peanut Festival Pageant. Last year’s pageant was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic; however, all the queens that were eligible for the cancelled 2020 pageant are competing for this year’s crown.

Part of her platform for the pageant is advocating and raising funds for the Make- A-Wish Foundation – an organization that  grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. “It takes at least $8,000 to grant a child’s wish, so I need all the help I can get,” commented Grantham.

And here’s a delicious way you can help her out. On Thursday, July 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Abigail is having a pancake fundraising supper.

The pancake supper pick-up location will be at First Presbyterian Church of Donalsonville located at the corner of Tennille Avenue and U.S. Highway 84. The plates will include pancakes and sausage and the cost of each plate is $10.
