Friendship United Methodist Church pastor Nate Lehman is ready to open the doors to the Friendship Store’s new location this Thursday morning in downtown Donalsonville
The Friendship Store, now ready for business in its new location, opens its doors to the public Thursday, July 22 – just in time for back to school shopping. The new expanded floor and display space location is 120 East Second Street in downtown Donalsonville.
A thrift store outreach ministry of Donalsonville’s Friendship United Methodist Church (FUMC), the Friendship Store offers affordable quality clothing and household items to those in need in the community.
FUMC uses the proceeds from the sale of the store’s donated goods to fund the church’s food ministries and community outreach ministries that include the food pantry, the monthly manna drop, and storm recovery projects.
The store will be open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. An official grand opening event is planned for August 5th
