Donalsonville firefighter Jacob Stinson recently completed the training requirements needed to become a Georgia State Certified Firefighter. He has completed over 300 hours of training in the past ten months to acquire this certification.

Jacob began his firefighting career as a volunteer firefighter, and is now proud to serve the community in a career capacity as a certified firefighter with the Donalsonville Fire and Rescue Department. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his wife, family, and friends.

Jacob would like to thank his fire service family and his friends, and his wife for pushing him towards success. Jacob’s favorite part of the job is being able to help those within the community when they’re in need the most.
