Tree of Hope lighting set for Dec. 2

First Port City Bank employees will be selling luminaries Saturday, November 20, from 9 a.m. – 12 30 p.m. in front of the Piggly Wiggly in Donalsonville

Seminole County Warpath on Cancer will hold their annual lighting of the Tree of Hope on Thursday, December 2. The cross will be lit after the Christmas parade, at Ponder Corner, corner of Hwy. 83 and Tennille Ave.  The Christmas parade starts at 6 p.m.

Luminaries may be purchased for $5 in honor or memory of loved ones. Contact Stephanie Mims at 229-220-1604 or Jan Taylor at 229-220-0200 to purchase luminaries or for more information. 

The deadline to purchase luminaries is Sunday, November 28.
