SCES students create Christmas cards for troops in Alaska

When you are far away from family and friends during the holidays receiving a hand-made Christmas card has to be a special treat. That was the goal and the intention of Seminole County Elementary kindergarten and first grade students who recently crafted thoughtfully designed Christmas cards for Captain Preston Wilson’s company of U.S. Army paratroopers stationed at Fort Richardson in Anchorage Alaska. The soldiers are shown here proudly displaying their special Seminole County deliveries.

Preston is married to the former Brittany Burkett. He is the son of Joey and Kim Wilson of Chipley, Florida and the son-in-law of Mark and Annette Burkett.
