After having to cancel last year because of COVID-19 safety precautions, the annual Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce membership and awards Banquet returns this year on Friday, February 25th from 6-8 p.m. at the Donalsonville Country Club.
The guest speaker will be Seminole County School Superintendent Mark Earnest who plans to present the audience with details and updates on the school system’s plans to construct a new state-of-the art Pre-K through twelfth grade school complex.
As always, there will be a great dinner, this year catered by Kay Cook. After the meal, the evening’s program will feature the presentation of awards, including the announcement of the 2021 Citizen of the Year, the always popular 50/50 raffle, and great door prizes.
The evening’s business will include a membership vote on proposed changes to the Chamber of Commerce Bylaws and the recognition of outgoing and incoming officers and Board of Directors members.
Tickets for the annual meeting are $20 per person and are available now at the chamber office. They will also be available at the door the night of the event.
