Donalsonville News to host Business After Hours event today at 5:30

Recipients of a newly-created Community Hero Award to be announced

The Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of its Business
After Hours social gatherings. To kick off this season’s scheduled monthly events the Donalsonville News, located at 216 Cherry Street, will serve as the host for July’s event this evening, Thursday, July 7th beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Recipients of the inaugural Donalsonville News Community Hero Award will be announced at the event. This new award has been established to reward and spotlight life-saving actions performed by selfless citizens throughout the year.

The chamber is committed to providing its membership with engaging activities that can provide networking and social opportunities. The Business After Hours events are scheduled to do that and more in a setting designed to encourage business leaders, governmental officials,  and community members to connect and network in a casual, and welcoming social atmosphere.

Business After Hours events afford an opportunity for Chamber members and ‘not yet Chamber members’ to build relationships and conduct business with each other.

The chamber’s Business After Hours events are free and open to all members of the community. Food, drinks, door prizes, and light programming will be provided by each month’s host for everyone to enjoy.

Join the fun on Thursday, July 7 at the Donalsonville News. Stop in at 5:30 p.m. and plan to relax in a friendly atmosphere, greet friends, and make new friends after the busy workday.

Businesses who wish to sponsor a Business After Hours event and have the benefit of showing off their business to the community may do so by contacting Sarah Avery or Kadie Matthews at the chamber by calling 229-524-2588.
