Chamber to host next Business After Hours event August 11th

The next Business After Hours event will be hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, on August 11th, with refreshments at the Beall Center on 224 Cherry Street at 5:30 p.m. 

Chamber President Sarah Avery commented, “We had a great turnout at the first after hours event held July 7 at the Donalsonville News, and we hope to continue to have our local business owners and community members get together for a great social event.”

The August 11 event will include a cash prize drawing and if you want to win, you have to be present.

The chamber is committed to providing its membership with engaging activities that can provide networking and social opportunities. The Business After Hours events are scheduled to do that and more in a setting designed to encourage business leaders, governmental officials,  and community members to connect and network in a casual, and welcoming social atmosphere.

Business After Hours events afford an opportunity for Chamber members and ‘not yet Chamber members’ to build relationships and conduct business with each other.

The chamber’s Business After Hours events are free and open to all members of the community. Food, drinks, door prizes, and light programming will be provided by each month’s host for everyone to enjoy.

Join the fun on Thursday, August 11 at the Beall Center. Stop in at 5:30 p.m. and plan to relax in a friendly atmosphere, greet friends, and make new friends after the busy workday.
