Business After Hours tees off at the Country Club today
This month’s Business After Hours event will be hosted by the Donalsonville Country Club today, Thursday, September 1st, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The September 1 event will include refreshments, a presentation of the amenities and services offered at the club, the opportunity to drive some balls on the driving range and a putting contest for prizes. The cash prize drawing did not have a winner at the August event so the total amount to be given away has increased. If you want to win, you have to be present.
Chamber President Sarah Avery commented, “We’ve had great turnouts at our first two events – held July 7 at the Donalsonville News, and August 11 at the Beall Center – and we hope to continue to have our local business owners and community members get together for a great social event.”
The chamber is committed to providing its membership with engaging activities that can provide networking and social opportunities. The Business After Hours events are scheduled to do that and more in a setting designed to encourage business leaders, governmental officials, and community members to connect and network in a casual, and welcoming social atmosphere.
Business After Hours events afford an opportunity for Chamber members and ‘not yet Chamber members’ to build relationships and conduct business with each other.
The chamber’s Business After Hours events are free and open to all members of the community. Food, drinks, door prizes, and light programming will be provided by each month’s host for everyone to enjoy.
Join the fun on Thursday, September 1st at the Donalsonville Country Club. Stop in at 5:30 p.m. and plan to relax in a friendly atmosphere, greet friends, and make new friends after the busy workday.
Businesses who wish to sponsor a Business After Hours event and have the benefit of showing off their business to the community may do so by contacting Sarah Avery or Kadie Matthews at the chamber by calling 229-524-2588.
