Police Department’s Faith and Blue Fun Day is Saturday
This Saturday, October 8, get ready for some good old fashioned fun and celebration of faith at Donalsonville Police Department’s annual Community Faith and Blue Fun Day. The event will be held in the city park next to the Lions Hall on Wiley Avenue in downtown Donalsonville from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“There are four goals that Donalsonville Police Department wishes to accomplish with this celebration: to celebrate our faith, to encourage an attitude of community support and togetherness, to bring awareness to the youth of the many programs, organizations and activities that are available locally, and to enhance police community relations,” commented Donalsonville Chief of Police Woodrow Blue. The event will feature free food, kids games, prizes and words of faith, love and encouragement presented by scheduled speakers Reverend Stephen Webb, Reverend Selina Elijah and Mayor Ron Johnson.
Make plans to attend and show your support this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
