The sign-up period to apply to shop at the Beth Capuson Christmas Store sponsored by Friendship United Methodist Church will begin Monday, November 28. Applications will be accepted Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. through December 8 in the Friendship United Methodist Church office located at 305 South Woolfork Avenue in Donalsonville.
The first 60 families to complete the application will be allowed to shop Friday, December 9 at an assigned time. All applicants applying will need to provide proof of Seminole County residency, proof that the children live in their household and are of fifth grade age or younger.
Shoppers will be allowed to purchase great toys, bikes, pajamas or jackets – all available at a substantially reduced cost.
The store is in memory of Beth Capuson, former Seminole County Family Connections Coordinator and Friendship United Methodist Church Family and Children’s Coordinator. Beth’s vision was that no child would go without something special on Christmas morning, and that the family members would be encouraged and blessed with the opportunity to purchase and provide those gifts.
