Public Hearing set for March 8th to discuss county’s Pre-Hazard Mitigation Plan

Seminole County and its cities are updating the Seminole County Pre-Hazard Mitigation Plan as required by the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 to help reduce vulnerability to natural and man-made hazard events.  

A public hearing is scheduled for Seminole County and the cities of Donalsonville and Iron City at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8th, at Donalsonville City Hall located at  127 East 2nd Street, Donalsonville.  

The hearing is being held to allow public comments regarding the plan before submission to the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA).
