Art on Fire, TAKE TWO, set for July 29 at the Osceola
Art on Fire, the campaign to raise funding for the transformation of downtown Donalsonville’s historic Fire Station complex into the Woolfork Avenue Art Gallery, Museum and Cultural Center, has fired up plans for the second installment of its fund-raising campaign.
Following the success of the May 13th gala kickoff event, Art on Fire – Take Two is planned for Saturday evening, July 29th from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Osceola Event Company facility on Second Street.
An evening of conversation, cocktails and culture is being planned as a fund-raising event for the Woolfork Avenue cultural center facility project, as well as to use the evening as a catalyst event to showcase and support the current and ongoing renovation project to bring the historic Osceola Hotel back to life.
On the evening of July 29 attendees will be treated to great food, a fired-up drink menu, music from the True Blue Band, and additional cultural activities – all staged for residents of Seminole County and beyond to enjoy a Summer night out in downtown Donalsonville. The dress code for the event will be cocktail attire. No jeans or shorts will be allowed, so plan to dress up in your best comfortable Summer outfit and join the celebration.
Tickets will be $75 person and are on sale at the Donalsonville News, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Donalsonville Downtown Development Authority office.
All proceeds from the event, a collaborative project of BetterWay, the Chamber and DDDA will go to fund renovations of the Woolfork Avenue Cultural Center.
