Burn ban issued!

The Donalsonville Fire and Rescue Department has issued a citywide burn ban. Burning of leaves and yard debris is prohibited at this time. This is due to the extremely dry conditions and low humidity the city is currently experiencing. 

This burn ban will be in effect until further notice from the Fire Rescue Department. Outdoor cooking fires and fires used for warming are exempt but must be used with extreme caution. And as a reminder, the burning of household garbage is always illegal.
