Applications begin November 30 to select Beth Capuson Christmas Store shoppers
The Beth Capuson Christmas Store sponsored by Friendship United Methodist Church (FUMC) is fast approaching. Store organizers will begin accepting applications Monday, November 30th. Applications will be accepted Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. through December 10 in the Friendship United Methodist Church’s office at 305 South Woolfork Avenue in Donalsonville.
Applicants will need to provide proof of residency in Seminole County, proof that the children live in their household and that they are of fifth grade age or younger.
The first 60 approved families to sign up will be given an appointment time to shop on Friday, December 11 or Saturday, December 12, at which time they will be able to purchase a large toy or bike, a small toy, and a warm item of clothing such as
pajamas or jackets at a substantially reduced cost.
The store is in memory of Beth Capuson, former Seminole County Family Connection Coordinator and Friendship United Methodist Church Family and Children’s Coordinator. Her legacy of providing love and support for those in need lives on through this mission. With continued needs from hardships caused by Hurricane Michael and COVID-19, FUMC is honored to share the love of Jesus by continuing this ministry and providing help and encouragement during this wonderful season.
