Public hearing for public input on City budget set for May 16

The proposed 2024-25 City of Donalsonville budget is now available at City Hall for public viewing. A public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m. for the purpose of receiving public input and comments concerning the
fiscal year 2024-25 budget.

Immediately preceding the May 16 budget public hearing a public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. for the purpose of receiving input and comments for updating traffic controls and patters within the city. 

The May 16 public hearings were originally scheduled for May 9; however inclement weather forced them to be rescheduled to May 16.

A second budget review public hearing  will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, and a called meeting of the City Council has been set for 5 p.m. on May 23 to adopt the proposed budget.

All residents of Donalsonville are welcome and are encouraged to attend.

All public hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 127 East Second Street in downtown Donalsonville.
