Friendship House to celebrate tenth anniversary

The entire community is invited to come out and celebrate at the
Friendship House’s 10th Anniversary Open House

Tuesday, May 19 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Friendship House of Jesus invties the entire community to its ten year anniversary celebration event at Rambeau Gymnasium on Tuesday, May 19th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, visit the classrooms, and visit with Friendship House’s leadership.

It is hard to believe, but Donalsonville’s Friendship House of Jesus is wrapping up its tenth school year and getting ready to start its eleventh Summer program for the Donalsonville campus. SO, it is time to celebrate.

Executive Director Justin Gravlee commented, “The May 19th event will be an opportunity for the public to see how much we have grown over the last 10 years as an after school faith based ministry, and hear plans for the future programs and outreach projects.”

“We are so blessed in this community and we wish to say thank you to those who have supported us physically, spiritually and financially over those years. “We have continued our mission of reaching the children in Seminole County with the gospel of Jesus through a variety of programs. Clear consistent communication is key with our Summer and after school programs and our faith-based message,” added Gravlee.

Again this year the Friendship House is asking for  community assistance in providing a safe place for Southwest Georgia’s youth. Will you sponsor one child this Summer for a donation of $200?

Your sponsorship provides transportation, lunch, arts & crafts, recreation, music, Bible study and special field trips in a safe and faith-filled environment for eight weeks in the Summer of 2026. You can indeed make a difference.

Donate by contacting Gravlee at 229-416-5920.
