Two RR crossings to temporarily close for maintenance

CSX Transportation has scheduled temporary closure of two local railroad crossings for routine track maintenance.
CSX plans to temporarily close the Broome Avenue crossing, located between West Crawford Street and Highway 84, and the Fertilizer Road crossing located between Old Jakin Road and Highway 84 either the week of October 10th or the week of October 17th.
The crossings will be closed for approximately five days for routine maintenance.
CSX is currently working on logistics of each of the projects, and once those details are released, a more accurate closure date for each closing will be announced
The crossing closures will be total closures meaning no traffic will be allowed across the track until the work is complete
Each closure will necessitate rerouting traffic and signage will be in place marking detour routes. Please note the expected closure date(s). CSX also expressed that any and all dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists should anticipate extended travel times and delays and are asked to avoid these closure areas if at all possible.
