Pet adoption event set for Saturday from 10 to 4

The Animal Rescue Alliance, Inc. (ARA) will be holding a pet adoption event on Saturday, February 25 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., on South Wiley Avenue in Donalsonville in the parking lot of the former Harvey’s supermarket.

So, if you can offer a forever home to a new best friend here’s your chance to do just that.

The shelter will be bringing some of their furry friends for the public to see.  All potential adopters will fill out the appropriate forms and include vet references. All animals coming from ARA have been dewormed, treated for fleas, received medical care as appropriate, vaccines, and are spayed or neutered prior to being sent home with their new families.

ARA will be selling T-shirts for a donation, and there will be a bake sale on site as well.  There  will also be a cake auction conducted online Saturday.  Watch ARA’s web site (aralliancega.com) and its Facebook page as well for information on all events.  All proceeds from T-shirts, the bake sale, and cake auction go directly to the Animal Rescue Alliance Inc.

If you would like more information contact the shelter at 229-992-2039.  They are open to the public Wednesday through Saturday from 10-4.
