Recreation Department Opening Ceremony is Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Opening Ceremony for Seminole County Recreation Department’s Spring baseball, softball, and tee-ball season is Saturday, March 16 at 10 a.m.

Teams are scheduled to arrive at the 808 Gip Avenue ballpark at 9:30 a.m. 

Long time dedicated recreation director Billy Fain will be throwing the first pitch, and Seminole County Commissioners will be in attendance. 

Concession stands will be open, and the entire community is invited to come out and support the children of our community with a fun-filled day of ball!

The Seminole County Recreation Department is in need of umpires for the 2024 Spring season for baseball and softball! This will be a compensated position, and all interested are asked to  contact Emily Morris at (229) 309-9814 for more information.
